CEO Statement on U.N. Resolution Passing
Janti Soeripto, President and CEO of Save the Children, issued the following statement:
"While we’re pleased today’s UN resolution passed, it’s not nearly enough. We need a definitive ceasefire. Let me state, once again: the crisis in Gaza is unprecedented. Over 20,000 people have been killed – including over 8,000 children. More than 500,000 people are facing starvation. Kids do not have the amount of water needed to survive. There are more than 350,000 cases of infectious diseases. Enough is enough."
