Help Children in Latin America

In a region marked by profound inequality, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the rights of millions of children across Latin America and the Caribbean. The region was already facing various crises, including natural disasters and armed conflict. Today, Latin America has become the region hardest hit in the world by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sadly, even before the pandemic, Latin America had the highest rate of child homicides in the world. With schools and other protective services closing due, children have become an easier target for armed groups

With a population of more than 654 million, nearly 14.4 million people have been displaced by conflict. More than 5 million people in Venezuela alone have fled due to violence and insecurity as well as lack of food, medicine and essential services.

Save the Children works in Latin America to provide for some of the world’s most vulernable children. But we can’t do any of this lifesaving work without your support.
