Paul Butcher

Paul Butcher is Acting Chief Marketing Officer at Save the Children. In this role, he oversees the team focused on marketing, communications and fundraising to mobilize and grow our supporter base in the United States.  

Paul is an accomplished marketing and fundraising leader with extensive experience in digital and integrated marketing. Since joining Save the Children in 2016, Paul has played a pivotal role in the organization’s global and U.S. digital strategy, leading initiatives that resulted in significant growth in digital donors in the U.S. market and globally. Paul is passionate about leveraging digital innovation to create impactful solutions and accelerate progress for children. 

Paul has championed Save the Children’s marketing technology platform transformation, as well as fundraising innovations such as gaming, crypto and AI.  

Before joining Save the Children, Paul held senior digital marketing roles at Citi and Horizon Marketing. Paul began his career in sports marketing at IMG. 

Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from Southampton University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
