Danita Ostling

Danita currently serves as a board member and chairs the audit committee of Circle, a global financial technology firm, as a board member and audit committee member of nVent, a diversified electrical company, and as a board member and audit committee chair of Varsity Brands, a Bain Capital investee.

Prior to her retirement in July 2021, Danita spent 40 years serving a broad spectrum of publicly held and privately owned clients as a partner and senior leader at Ernst & Young (EY).  A solutions-oriented leader with extensive on-the-ground experience in the US and internationally, Danita has worked with large global organizations and high-growth start-ups on complex issues in accounting, auditing, risk, regulatory and securities registrations, including initial public offerings.  Danita has significant international experience, having been based in London for eight years and having travelled extensively worldwide to support clients and EY teams.

Danita is a CPA and qualifies as an audit committee financial expert.

Danita was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Save the Children US in February 2020 and currently serves on the Audit and Risk Committee. She also serves as a board member of Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) in addition to other community and philanthropic activities.
